The Financial Institutions Group (FIG) is one of the major industry groups at IFC, responsible for managing roughly 40% of IFC's overall business in terms of volume and capital at risk. FIG's strategy and implementation work focuses on 3 main pillars: (i) increase financial access and inclusion; (ii) scale sustainability and climate finance; and (iii) make financial systems more efficient, resilient, and sophisticated. FIG engages in a wide range of priority areas including Financial Inclusion, Digitization, Climate, Capital Markets and Housing, and Distressed Assets to which it offers investment and advisory services through banks, non-bank financial institutions, other digital channels, and the capital markets.

IFC's priorities in FIG as an industry group are: (i) grow investment and advisory solutions in all regions it operates in, while achieving strong profitability and development impact (ii) build new and nurture existing client relationships to make IFC the preferred partner for key clients (iii) manage portfolio of assets for strong profitability and impact; (iv) support local companies, while improving transparency and corporate governance; (v) catalyze foreign investment, including mobilizing B loans, parallel loans, and other forms of capital mobilization; (vi) introduce and develop new financial solutions, products and platforms; (vii) build long-term partnerships with strong regional players; (viii) develop client, sector and country-level solutions through upstream and downstream interventions that can be scaled and replicated; and (ix) be a thought leader and innovator of products and client solutions globally.

FIG is looking for an Operations Analyst to assume various responsibilities and tasks across FIG including coordination with FIG management for seamless Project ADM globally and regionally, implementation of staffing Marketplace, leading staff onboarding, oversight on FIG ACS team, leading the FIG Director's Front Office, amongst other priorities. The position will be based in Washington DC and report to the FIG Director.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The role will cover a wide range of evolving responsibilities in line with strategic priorities of FIG. Anticipated scope of duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Oversee and coordinate the Project Concept Early Look, IRM and other meetings globally and regionally to ensure timely and efficient execution of project cycle in line with Operations ADM.

• Support and oversee the T3PC and CRC meeting requests and planning and track documentations and approval to ensure timely and effective compliance with the ADM as well as follow-through on management approval conditions and requirements to build lessons learnt and knowledge across FIG.

• Lead the FIG Marketplace in coordination with FIG BSU Manager to allow management of staffing on projects across FIG to build efficiency as well as help flow of knowledge and expertise Globally and Regionally and improve talent and expertise management within FIG.

• Assist with Onboarding of new staff together with FIG knowledge management team and FIG BSU.

• Provide support to the FIG Director and lead the FIG Front Office efficiently and effectively to ensure smooth coordination of all Front Office activities with Regions, VPs and RVPs and MD's front offices and overseeing other Senior Program Assistants to develop a high level of support for FIG, mentors other ACS staff and ensure seamless and effective teamwork within FIG Global.

Selection Criteria

• Bachelor or certificate degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of direct relevant experience.

• At least 5-8 years of experience in program and event management, budget and procurement management.

• At least 2-4 years of experience in data analytics and financial and data management.

• Strong understanding of IFC Project Cycle and processes and procedures.

• Self-motivated, creative with excellent organizational skills and proven ability to perform multiple tasks.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Analytical mind, able to analyze, collect and aggregate information present data effectively to internal and external clients.

• Capacity to deal with conflicting priorities and deliver high quality work on schedule; facility to work successfully in multicultural teams and across boundaries.

• Excellent oral and written presentation skills in English are required.

• Enthusiasm for, and commitment to development work.

• Commitment to development work and IFC's mission.
