Electric Monster is a rapidly growing content creation studio founded in March of '21 that acquires and grows digital video brands in the general entertainment space. The team at Electric Monster is a diverse mix of ambitious digital video veterans and people looking to make their mark on our industry. As we continue to grow, we are in search of a Operations Associate to join our talented team and help shape the future of digital content.

Position Summary

We are seeking an Operations Associate to play a pivotal role in optimizing our internal operations and ensuring the seamless execution of projects across departments.The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven individual who is passionate about optimizing operations, and facilitating collaboration across teams.

This position will report directly to the EVP of Operations and will be functioning in a Hybrid capacity. Our studios are located in Burbank, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing and optimize workflows across various departments to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist EVP of Operations in Identifying bottlenecks and suggest process improvements to help streamline operations.
  • Define clear objectives, assignments, and milestones for channels, departments, and projects. Track progress towards objectives and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • When applicable, provide the team with clear assignments, due dates, and Gantt charts for project planning and execution.
  • Facilitate seamless communication and coordination between different departments to ensure the smooth execution of projects and initiatives.
  • Assist EVP of Operations in resolving any operational issues or challenges.
  • Provide monthly updates to stakeholders on the status of projects, including key milestones, accomplishments, and potential challenges.
  • When applicable, collect operational and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data to assess the effectiveness of processes.
  • Support EVP of Operations in data and file management within Google Workplace, ensuring data security, and organization.
  • Assist with facilities management activities, including but not limited to office space management, equipment procurement, and maintenance.
  • Ad-hoc tasks assigned by the EVP of Operations.
  • Uphold Electric Monster's ethics and values while performing duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Operations, Management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience demonstrated professionally or academically.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workplace (formerly G Suite), and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with a data-driven culture and has the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and optimize complex workflows.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is also a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills while maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Self-starter that is able to learn new skills quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized with good follow-up and follow-through skills.

Base Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 DOE
