As an Operations Associate you will be responsible for the integrity and quality control of employee data across the League and carrier platforms.

You are also responsible to contribute to efforts to identify, prioritize and drive key opportunities to enhance how our business runs, enable new strategic partnerships (e.g., carriers and others) and create infrastructure to serve different client structures. 

Your main objectives will be, but not limited to: 

  1. Enroll, update, and terminate employees in benefits for all League products, including group benefits and spending accounts. 
  2. Support client configuration on the carrier platform. 
  3. Create scalable processes and procedures to continuously improve the quality of our benefits administration processes and the complexity of processes that we offer as an organization.

You will work closely with the implementation project managers, customer success team members, client HR team members, Manila Operations team, carrier account managers and product managers on a daily basis to maintain the integrity of employees’ demographic information and benefit enrollments, and group configuration. 

Your mission is to continually streamline these data processes to improve accuracy and help reduce administrative burden on our clients and internally. 

In this role, you will:

  • Manage employee data from end-to-end, including:
    • Initial enrollment, open enrollment, and new hire enrollments in the form of data automation tools, census data, manual data entry, and/or ticketing
    • Process Qualifying Life Events, Benefit Class Changes, Rehires, Extension of Benefits, and more
    • Process census and paper enrollments with carriers for all lines of coverage
    • Proficiently manipulate large sets of enrollment data to support audits
  • Manage carrier portals and account manager relationships
  • Support projects that deliver measurable impact on League’s cost to serve or client experience, including:
    • Understanding complex requirements, and designing and implementing processes to support these requirements
  • Develop systems to monitor key operational processes to track the effectiveness, quality and cost of operating our business
    • Create and maintain client documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures and process related documentation
  • Primary administrator of carrier portals, including:
    • Set up new clients and employees
    • Process enrollments, changes, terminations
    • Prepare reports for HR Admins
    • Troubleshoot reported issues
  • Monitor, triage, and manage client/plan member issues
  • Collaborate with multiple internal and external departments to identify root cause and resolve any broad operational issues that affect our business
  • Establish ongoing process improvement to increase efficiency, accuracy and scalability
  • Assist with other client success tasks and projects as needed
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance/adherence

About you:

  • Must have strong understanding of healthcare administration and the impact it has on the industry
  • Human Resources and HRIS (human resources information system)/payroll system(s) knowledge helpful 
  • Strong relationship management and project management expertise, analytical skills and the ability to engage and motivate multiple stakeholders across the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with other functional areas/organizations to deliver a seamless experience for the customer
  • Tech savvy – must have a comfort level with learning new technology and being able to communicate effectively

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for base salaries for the position across all US locations. Where in the band you may land is determined by job-related skills/experience and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.

$66,000—$99,000 USD
