The Operations Analyst is responsible for operations functions required to effectively manage client accounts, including reconciliation and reporting. Portfolio Managers rely on the information in the portfolio management system to make investment and other management decisions. The Analyst is the point person for ensuring the portfolio management system contains accurate, up to date information.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Verifying Reconciliation and Resolve any Unit Verification Failures
- Processing Security Movement (Account Mergers and Distributions)
- Oversight of Cost Basis (including resolution of missing or incorrect basis)
- Processing Alternative Investments through their life cycle (including subscription agreements and posting contributions, distributions, and valuations)
- Researching and resolving portfolio account issues
- Special Projects as assigned.
- Verifying Corporate Actions
- Backup other areas as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The Operations Analyst will have the following minimum qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage workflow to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
- Positive and productive attitude
- Knowledge of all Microsoft Office products including, Word, Excel and Outlook
