Job Summary

This position is for an Operations Associate on the Special Processing/Policy Change team within Individual Operations.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responding to requests pertaining to terms of the contract, benefits provides, values of policies and tax issues regarding life and annuity contracts, processing of work items for completeness and accuracy, driving excellent customer service experiences by living out our Empowerment with Accountability (EWA) beliefs, managing and prioritizing day-to-day operations to ensure that service standards are maintained, collaborating with peers and other business areas to leverage best practices (One America Way) and create efficiencies.

Job Requirements

Required Education and/or Certifications

  • A high school diploma

Recommended Education and/or Certifications

  • A college degree preferred, but not required.

Required Work Experience

  • Previous experience in ILFS preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency with PC, data analytic and problem-solving skills, as well as verbal/written communication.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain positive working relationships with internal/external partners.
  • Ability to identify issues and propose/execute solutions.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail to prioritize multiples priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

Salary Band: 03A

This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
