Operations Associate-TAS Summary:
The primary function of the Consulting Operations Associate is providing support to the assigned leadership team in areas that span the client delivery life cycle. In this capacity the CS Operations Associate will be responsible for planning, coordination and execution of assisting teams with client engagement assessment of risk. This position is also responsible for the creation, revision, and implementation of practice processes, policies and operational optimization.
Essential Duties:
- Work with leadership in addressing risk mitigation, system usage, process improvement, communication, and support needs affecting the successful delivery of client solutions
- Partner with leadership and service line operations on the creation and execution of short- and long-term project plans. Manage project objectives, risks, schedule, resources and deliverables
- Develop a deep understanding of solution offerings at RSM and develop relationships with supportingleadership
- Be a resource to CS admins across region,establishing standards andcompliant practices(contracts, independence considerations, e.g.) liaising with inter-regional counterparts to share best practices, promoting efficiency and standardization
- Ensure effective response to and resolution of troubled initiatives on an as-needed basis
- Provide oversight and advocacy for the effective efficient use of internal systems
- Change management and communication with updates around client engagement assessment of risk tool
- Other duties asassigned
Experience:
- Experience managing multiple projects of low to moderate risk
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business or technology related area or equivalent experience,required
Technical/Soft Skills:
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, required
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to prepare presentations including charts, graphics and tables, speaker notes & handouts, etc., required
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, preferred
Leadership Skills:
- Ability to supervise, direct, and review the results of projectsor assignments
- Ability to support, affect, and implement change
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to impact and influence a diverse population
