DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring government property experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.
• Displays core job competencies in one or more outcome work areas in the USG FAR 52.245-1 requirements for contractors.
• Actively supports and/or is involved in the day to day operations of a few of the 10 Government Property Management Outcomes that are identified Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), specifically FAR 45 and 52.245-1.
• Conducts inventories and finds assets by exception in support of the inventory cycle and customer audits.
• Works with asset custodians to locate capital assets on demand from Accounting.
• Helps with special moves or activities to ensure documentation and paperwork is correct.
• Assists with asset tagging when volume warrants.
• Assists on execution of corrective action plans.
• Actively supports the Sites Property Coordinator/Custodian Committee meetings.
• Assists department junior associates/clerks when needed or prudent.
• Supports internal Tier accountability boards and escalation model/processes, as applicable.
• Actively participates Six-Sigma, Root Cause Corrective Actions (RCCA), Gemba walks, Kaizen (Continuous Improvement) teams and other related tools in problem solving activities.
• Works cross functionally

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

• Typically requires an undergraduate degree and 1+ years of experience.
• In lieu of formal education, 5 years of directly related experience preferred.
• Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail
