Responsibilities:
Office of the Undersecretary for Defense for Research and Engineering Mission Integration Division (OUSD(R&E)) mission engineering, analysis, and integration expertise to produce objective insights and analytic justification to inform future technology and capability investment decisions within the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Execution (PPBE) process and aid in the prioritization, alignment and validation of requirements within Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) to deliver modernized capabilities that enable an all domain joint force aligned with future Joint Warfighting Concepts. The team constructs, manages, and conducts discrete mission engineering and analysis study tasks to evaluate the efficacy of legacy architectures and new technologies and capabilities applied in new mission concepts of employment to meet evolving joint mission objectives.
As a Knowledge Management Operations Coordinator with KBR, you will work as an integral member of a government/contractor team in support of the customer's knowledge management needs. Your work will encompass understanding the data and knowledge needs for the Mission Integration enterprise, how it is intended to be generated, stored, shared, and used through the life of a mission engineering study and for long term storage needs. You will coordinate the design and implementation of the knowledge management system with the infrastructure solutions architect to ensure compliance with necessary security and cybersecurity rules.
Qualifications:
Responsibilities:• Understand technology trends and practical application of existing, new and emerging tools for KM implementation• Elicit requirements from each of the Chief Engineers within Mission Integration to better understand the data, information, and knowledge needs• Design the KM solution architecture to integrate within the greater environment• Coordinate, oversee, and implement KM solution with the MI environment• Coordinate information/knowledge updates with the SharePoint Administrator• Identify and monitor deficiencies in current-state of the KM strategy• Develop Mission Integration (MI) Division's KM strategy for implementation on unclassified and classified information systems• Apply principles and standards to ensure to ensure solution decisions enable the deployment of a scalable solutions framework to accommodate demand signals from outside of Mission Integration• In coordination with the customer, develop training and knowledge transfer requirements and policies for OSD(R&E)
Minimum Qualifications:• 5+ years of experience with Knowledge Management transformation• Experience in supporting technical and/or operational customers including interfacing with external stakeholders and senior government personnel• Experience providing strong organizational and oral and written communication skills including preparing presentations and other visualization forms to communicate results and artifacts to varied audiences• Understanding of tasks/skills necessary to maintain configuration management on large and complex projects and developing and administering integrated data environments including cloud-based storage approaches• Experience utilizing SharePoint and other KM and/or workflow management tools• Familiarity with APQC Knowledge Management best practices• Working knowledge on MS Office Suite and its capabilities
Desired Qualifications• 7+ years of hands-on design and implementation of KM solutions for government customers• 5+ years of experience working with MS SharePoint• Experience conducting data and statistic manipulation
Education Requirements:• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution• Master's degree in related discipline from an accredited institution is desired
Clearance requirements:• Current TS (SCI eligibility required); Active TS/SCI clearance is desired.• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
