Job Description

Provides support to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) area by collecting, analyzing and interpreting data. This position executes and supports data management, reporting and analysis needs for various end users including, but not limited to: management, project teams, clients and peers. In addition, this position is focused on identifying metadata and quality issues, as well as potential solutions through data analysis and reporting.

This position is remote, with the exception of initial onboarding (hybrid), and so the selected individual will need to be available to work within our River Park Plaza St. Paul, MN based location. The selected candidate must reside in MN or WI. Relocation to MN or WI will be required for out-of-state candidates.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this opportunity is $79,892to $119,766, with a median salary of $99,829/annually. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees. Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Develop analytic/quantitative models in support of key internal and client decision making processes
  • Partner with internal teams to evaluate existing reporting/dashboards and provide additional analytics to serve existing and prospective clients.
  • Support presentations on program analytics for existing and prospective clients.
  • Proactively manage and prioritize assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are achieved, communicating progression or road-blocks
  • Produce ad-hoc analyses to support client requests
  • Present findings and provide subject matter expertise on program data to clients and internal partners
  • Collects, validates, analyzes, interprets, and organizes various types of data into meaningful reports and/or summaries for various uses including, but not limited to: management decision making, process improvements, client specific requirements or requests, etc.
  • Designs, develops, tests and deploys standard and custom reports to internal and/or external end users for strategic and operational analysis.
  • Uses statistical analysis and other data analysis methods to identify quality issues and possible solutions or process improvements.
  • Defines department specific report requirements. Works with users and project teams to define new capabilities and reports requirements using standard requirements definition tools.
  • Works with business analysts, and data stewards to drive requirements gathering for metadata and data quality criteria, thresholds and reporting for enterprise and departmental projects.
  • Works in conjunction with a variety of stakeholders to capture, assesses, analyze, and remediate metadata and data quality issues.
  • Works with project managers for incorporating metadata and data quality principles, standards and processes in project life cycles and all new business integration activities.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4 + years' experience in data management, data analysis, report development and/or related field
  • Highly proficient in Excel (e.g. macros, pivot tables, advanced charts/graphs, conditional formatting, data tables, basic programming)
  • Solid knowledge of PowerBI, PowerQuery, Python, SQL
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to function under pressure, conflicting priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction

Preferred:

  • Experience within healthcare industry
  • Experience with medical claims, reimbursement, and/or healthcare industry data
  • Experience in metadata and/or data quality monitoring
  • Experience using analytic tools or systems (ex. web based, custom, proprietary, etc.)
  • Experience using MHA / WHA data
  • Experience documenting requirements, creating training materials and working directly with end users
  • Quality Assurance experience
