JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary of Responsibilities:

Responsible for the execution of plants performance to meet the cost, quality, delivery and safety as laid out in the most recent forecast. Responsible for hiring, developing and retaining people in their organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily, weekly & monthly review of measurables to ensure expectations are met

Sharing and implementing best business practice.

Flawless launches

On-site plant reviews minimum once per month on stable plants, and as needed on others.

Ensure root cause and corrective actions are both implemented and shared for all non conformances in quality, delivery, safety and cost overruns.

Qualifications:

Minimum 10-15 years of manufacturing operations experience, with at least five of those years as a plant manager.

Candidate must have experience in 2 or more disciplines at the manager level and have proven success in at lease 2 locations as a plant manager.

Bachelor of Science in Business or Engineering

Must possess excellent communications skills have and the ability to work effectively with all other functional groups throughout the organization

They will need to be able to command respect above their position.

They will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills that will enable them to lead, motivate and get results in a matrix organization.

The candidate will be required to think strategically to adapt to changing environments. The person will need to have excellent analytical skills in order to problem solve and implement permanent corrective action.

The person will need to be able to mange green field start ups as well as new program launches. The person will need excellent project management skills to ensure the execution of many of these projects. Simultaneously.

The person will be required to work with program teams to ensure that the product and the process combine to meet the bench mark targets.
