Job Summary:

The Operations Domain Architect is responsible for the definition, oversight, coordination and development of technology designs, along with the related road maps and lifecycle management.

Essential Functions:

  • Alignment across the various technical architectural disciplines within the company to develop innovative and appropriate architectures and roadmaps that enable the enterprise to deliver best-in-class services to their clients, partners and employees
  • Provide overall architecture guidance, governance, and recommendations in support of technical objectives in their domains
  • Work with the Enterprise Architecture in establishing technology architecture strategy, goals, and objectives for their domains
  • Be a thought leader and mentor for other Domain Architects
  • Develop relationships with key business stakeholders within their domains
  • Partner with peers within all Information Technology groups to promote architecture principles, standards, methods, and strategic direction for the enterprise
  • Facilitate overall analysis, design, artifacts, and technical requirements validation for strategic initiatives
  • Define the future architecture and the roadmap to get from the current state to the end target
  • Lead / participate in vendor architecture related assessments and reviews
  • Develop technical architectures that will drive reduced cost, increased availability, improved security, client experience, and greater flexibility
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • Minimum twelve (12) years of experience in related areas including eight (8) years of direct experience in developing and implementing technically diverse application and infrastructure architectures is required

  • Strong interpersonal and high level of professionalism
  • Knowledge and strong understanding of ASP.NET, C#;.NET Framework, .NET Enterprise services, JavaScript, DHMTL, AJAX toolkits, XML, XSLT, ADFS, LDAP
  • Knowledge and experience with J2EE and related technologies such as EJB, JSP, Servlets and JAXP
  • Knowledge of object oriented design and development, advanced knowledge of IT solutions, .NET applications development, web applications development, enterprise application integration, functional specification and project management and related technologies
  • Knowledge of SOA Web Services, SOAP, WSDL
  • Knowledge of Messaging JMS, MQ Series
  • Databases SQL, MS SQL, and Data Access Methodologies (Stored Procedures , Dynamic SQL, Prepared Statements)
  • Knowledge of Web Site Networking (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Local Directors, Arrowpoints, VLANs)
  • Knowledge of Web Site Protocols & Communications (HTTP, HTTPS, TCP-IP, MQ)
  • Possesses wide base of experience in many disciplines of information technology such as operating systems,
  • web and server technologies, e-Commerce network design and protocol, business intelligence and analysis, messaging software, interoperability techniques and standards, e-business enabling, storage, network engineering, hardware, data center, and virtualization technology
  • Performance Management and Capacity Planning
  • Experience working in a fast paced, cross-functional and cross-team environment and being the functional go-to person with multiple business partners
  • Prior experience overseeing formal cost/benefit analysis
  • Demonstrated ability at leading and management.
  • Ability to conduct financial analysis for the purpose of making sound business decisions
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop, prioritize and accomplish goals
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Licensure and Certification:

  • None

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Some travel for business

Compensation Range:

$90,500.00 - $158,400.00
