Role Description:

This role will collaborate with IMC employees throughout the organization to troubleshoot, diagnose and correct issues that interfere with access to critical enterprise systems. Daily responsibilities include implementation, maintenance and support for desktops, servers, and the network where applicable. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service and support in a fast paced, demanding environment. 

Key accountabilities:

• Provide outstanding support and ownership of Desktop and Server Hardware as well as deployment of the newest enterprise level technologies.
• In depth knowledge and continued desire to learn the latest features and updates to the Microsoft, Linux and Mac Operating Systems.
• Administration of critical DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Virtualization and Storage Systems.
• Knowledge and support of Directory Management and Cloud Technologies.
• Mindset around efficiency and automation of tasks.
• Understanding and sense of urgency around support of Mobile Devices.
• Support of IMC’s highly utilized/state of the art Audio and Visual technology systems.
• Possess a can do attitude when assisting in-house Facilities Management with execution of desk and physical equipment moves.
• Timely and organized resolution of issues via JIRA ticketing system.
• Support of IMC’s critical email and phone systems.

Success Factors:

• Must be a self starter, and able to work productively under minimal supervision.
• Excellent trouble-shooting and diagnostic skills; ability to solve problems creatively and proactively.
• Provide excellent customer service and support in a fast paced, demanding environment.
• Must have a desire to learn new skills and evolve as IMC introduces new technologies to the environment.
• Must be willing to get hands dirty on physical tasks such as desk moves and room setups.
• Sense of urgency and strong prioritization skills a must.
• Knowledge of Financial Markets is an advantage, and a passion for the industry is essential.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills are vital. We operate in small, tightly focused groups hence having a “team-first” focused attitude is a must.
