Operations Lead, Data feed Operations (multiple positions)

Job Duties:
Perform, maintain and improve on monthly, quarterly and yearly data feed productions for Morningstar's managed investment products' custom and standard solutions in different data formats (30%). Conduct business analysis on Morningstar's data delivered through multiple delivery mechanisms including FTP, API and cloud-based data system in XML and CSV formats and strategize on its maintenance and improvement (20%). Partner with internal teams (product manager, tech leader, developer, customer success manager and sale) and external parties to analyze feature/content requests to Morningstar's products, and convert business requirements into actionable solutions based on detailed, in-depth data analysis, including but not limited to testing strategy formulation, usage analysis and data mapping/locating (20%). Ownership of impact analysis tied to change management in order to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders (10%). Identify workflow/system improvements such as automation and retirement of legacy processes and work with supervisors and team to enact change (10%). Work with the Technology team to troubleshoot production and client support issues and conduct root cause analysis for continual monitoring and reporting (10%).
Job Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, or a related field.• 2 years of relation operations experience.• 2 years of experience in the financial data services industry.• 2 years of experience with the calculation methodology for equity, fund, and fixed income products, including portfolio aggregation, holding-based analysis, and return-based analysis.• 2 years of experience with financial data analysis using Microsoft Excel.• 2 years of experience working with Salesforce, Atlassian JIRA, JIRA Align, or Confluence.• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements and identify solution options.• Experience with SQL.• Experience with XML and JSON.• Product Owner certification holder (must have completed a minimum of Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner).
