Operations Lead-Federal

About the position:

The Federal Operations Lead will help drive organizational success. This role involves overseeing all aspects of Ditto Federal operations, including, but not limited to: project budgets, HR, security compliance, travel, staffing initiatives, IT, contracting, and resource management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with the federal government.

As the Operations Lead, you will be responsible for: 

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive operations strategy for Ditto Federal that aligns with the company's overall vision and goals.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the federal government, including procurement officers, program managers, and decision-makers.
• Product Development: Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate development of products and services that meet the specific needs of government clients. Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards.
• Team Leadership: Mentor, and work with a high-performing team dedicated to Ditto Federal operations. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure all Ditto Federal initiatives comply with relevant regulations, security requirements, and contractual obligations. Stay informed about changes in government policies and regulations.

What you’ll need:

• Operations at a government-focused subsidiary or business unit. 
• Proven track record of streamlining standard operating procedures. 
• Deep understanding of government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements. 
• Established network within the Federal government.
• Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing teams. 
• Ability to characterize and speak to complex business problems. 
• Strong strategic and analytical skills. 
• Ability to develop and execute comprehensive business strategies.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets to update budget and financial performance.
• Must be a US citizen.

Nice to haves:

• Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with DoD procurement and contracting processes.
• Established relationships with key stakeholders in the Department of Defense.
• Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
• Veterans preferred. Command-level operations experience is a plus.
