The Operations Lead Specialist - Mutual Fund Services Income is responsible for assisting the supervisor with enhancing the productivity of the unit in addition to performing specialized operational securities processing activities to support the firm's business lines. This includes activities such as: instruction receipt and authentication, entry instruction and verification (dual controls), processing and recording, reporting and acknowledgement, and reconciliation. Some areas where these activities take place include Trade Entry, Foreign Exchange Processing, Trade Settlement, Corporate Action Processing, Research Notification and Corporate Services.

Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure daily payments are completed within standards for both quality and timeliness.
- Coordinate intraday and end of day prioritization and reconciliation of daily work/proof and control according to Payable date.
- Gain efficiencies to improve individual payment productivity.
- Help to ensure all payments are made with group standard of PD + 3.
- Manage daily production reporting.
- Monitor and assist in the resolution of issues whenever possible within Income group.
- Review E&O situations and look for corrective action.
- Follow up on open inquiries.
- Interact with other BBH departments on resolution of dividend related issues.
- Help to identify and document errors to reduce exposures.
- Communicate professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues to minimize risk and exposure.
- Approve/provide sign-off of team member's work.
- Provide training through assisting in the development of team members.
- Assist team members with day-to-day activities/provide back-up support.
- Utilize and operate all tools and technology appropriate to the role.
- Understand the big picture - how specific function impacts the firm.
- Contribute to Division or Firm process improvement activities.
- Juggle several tasks and/or projects efficiently despite resource and time constraints.
Desired Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1+ years of custody or securities processing or other industry experience.
- Research, analysis, and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally through effective verbal and written skills.
- Organizational skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Proactive self-starter who is detail and goal oriented.

Salary Range
$58,000 to $70,000
BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
