Job Description:

The Operations Leader will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a manufacturing or service site, integrating engineering principles specifically mechanical engineering, supply chain management, and strict adherence to AS9100 and ISO 9001. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and industry-specific knowledge to optimize site operations and ensure compliance with highly regulated standards in the aerospace and defense sectors.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in site operations
• Strong focus on mechanical engineering- fabrication technologies; brazing, welding, machining, precision type stamping and forming, supply chain, and compliance to MIL-SPEC standard.
• General knowledge on Electronics assembly workmanship to IPC 610 class 3 – J-STD Space addendum preferred
• Experience in staff or project roles such as Manufacturing Engineering, Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality or Applications Engineering, Supply Chain, or a project assignment
• NPI experience (Milestone Lifecycle Process), understanding the process for introducing new product designs into production release.
• Understanding of principles of Lean Manufacturing and six-sigma and how to effectively utilize the selected tools

The annual base salary range for this position, which could be performed in California, is $70,000-$163,000.*
