What is the Operations Manager responsible for?

• Maintaining appropriate staffing level, workload distribution, and employee skills necessary to best serve customers and meet business needs
• Collaborating with Sales and Customer Service personnel to take appropriate, urgent action to satisfy customers
• Resolving service-related problems, approving billing adjustments as necessary
• Maintaining adequate inventory to meet customer need
• Assessing equipment to maintain quality, assisting in modification when needed
• Ensure adequate after-hour response to customer emergencies
• Upholding a safe, clean work environment that follows all applicable Federal, State and company regulations
• Providing sufficient training to ensure employees have the skills and information necessary to exceed customers’ expectations
• Developing realistic employee performance objectives tied to the dealership’s goals in order to support employee development and empowerment
• Maintaining the company’s assets (plant, fleet, equipment, and other inventory)
• Participating in the preparation of annual budget/plans, regularly review actual performance vs. plan, analyze variances, and take action necessary to achieve goals
• Reviewing and controlling delivery, service and plant expenses

What qualifications do you need?

• 3+ years supervisory or management experience
• Dedication to customer service
• Effective communication skills, analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• High energy level, self-motivation, and enthusiasm 
• Preferred, but not required:
• 5+ year’s experience in water conditioning service and installation or similar field
• Knowledge of plumbing and electronics
