Summary:

Lincoln Electric is seeking an Operations Manager for our Cleveland, Ohio headquarters. The Operations Manager will play a key role in overseeing manufacturing operations within our machine production division. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a global leader in its industry. Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate all activities of production department through core team members.
• Manage extended team members from cross functional departments within organization.
• Ensure, develop, and continually improve processes using root cause analysis, promote safe work practices, and environmental performance within the department.
• Adhere to and ensure that quality products are manufactured within the department.
• Responsible for driving attainment of all departmental goals and metrics, through staffdevelopment and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Play a key role in developing Lincoln Electric'scurrent and future machining strategy.
• Conduct departmental performance ratings.
• Reports to the Plant Manager, Machine Division

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience; Technical or Engineering degree preferred.
• Prior management or supervisory experience and/or some supervisory training required.
• Able to communicate and deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Strong customer focus
• Uncompromising attitude toward safety, environment, health, and quality
• Excellent oral and written communication skills,leadership, organizational, and motivational skills
• Ability to handle employee and production issues in an efficient and professional manner.
• Basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook

Preferred Skills:

• MES, SAP, and Apriso knowledge is a plus
