Operations Manager - Measurement and Verification (M&V)

Ameresco currently has a new opportunity for an Operations Manager located in our Framingham, MA office. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and the Measurement and Verification (M&V) responsibilities for the projects in their region. This individual will have specific and detailed knowledge, based on educational background and professional experience, on the many technical, financial, and managerial requirements and details related to the operations and maintenance (O&M) service agreements and the measurement and verification (M&V) of Performance Contract projects.
Responsibilities
Determines contractual requirements for the M&V reporting and O&M services;
Assists in the development of the customer's maintenance program. Maintains maintenance data and warranties;
Assists the Director in the development and management of third-party maintenance contracts;
Schedule and coordinate equipment maintenance and replacement tasks and manages the day-to-day coordination with the customers;
Develops proposals for additional work and coordinates customer invoicing with Accounting;
Manages the M&V Engineers and data entry personnel in their region to ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget;
Analyzes the utility data and identifies energy saving shortfalls;
Works with customer to investigate causes and to resolve savings shortfall issues;
Develops and submits annual inspection reports;
Develops the quarterly EMS reports and the quarterly and annual savings reports;
Responsible for presenting and reviewing M&V reports with the customer;
Manages costs to meet annual budgets and performs internal cost and risk reporting;
Manages the process to identify and resolve customer complaints or issues;
Maintains positive customer relationships and identifies new business opportunities;
Hire and train operations support staff required to meet portfolio objectives; and
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 5 year of related work experience in operations management
Preferred Qualifications
Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication, and presentation skills.
Proficient computer skills with applications including MS Word, Excel, MS Project, and Outlook.
Valid Drivers License in good standing, issued by resident state.
