We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our Nashville Operations Team who exudes adaptability, foresight, creativity, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do
Office Operations -
- Serves as local expert for Slalom Office Operations with partnership from Regional Operations Manager (ROM)
- Develops a deep understanding of critical components of the market and key partnerships in order to plan and drive strategic office operations initiatives including back office ops support & reporting
- Drives Office Operations team strategy and scale in partnership with ROM.
- Drives Slalom Culture components for local market.
- Works closely with GM and leadership team to initiate, oversee and/or manage special projects.
- Implements office policies and procedures, in partnership with the Slalom Global Services team.
- Serves as local expert for Events with partnership from ROM.
- Owns planning and execution of internal and external events including but not limited to contract negotiations, collateral, venue sourcing, contracting with Procurement, theme, registration, event website, communications, rooming lists, food & beverage, swag, AV, content, set up and break down, etc.
- Facilities & Safety Management (upon return to physical office)
- Ensures safe and secure office space in compliance with laws and Slalom policy.
- Primary liaison to Slalom Spaces for market build-outs, moves, expansions, etc.
- Communicates with building management, internal employees, Slalom Spaces, and vendors regarding facility-related asks and issues.
- May serve as local office First Aid/AED/CPR.
- Accountable for clean and organized common spaces.
- Manages complex calendaring, scheduling, and travel for GM and leadership.
- Provides executive and administrative support and coordination as needed.
- Primary face behind the front reception desk.
- Offers a hospitable, warm, and contemporary client, candidate, and vendor experience.
- Inventories and orders office, gear, and kitchen supplies, including life event purchases & delivery.
- Receives and organizes mail and packages.
- Owns the Monthly Market Newsletter.
- Provides Employee Resource Group (ERG) support as needed.
- Directs central email and phone requests to appropriate individuals.
- Coordinate with Talent Acquisition team on New Hire Welcome Process.
- Ensure individual new hires are connected to Slalom systems & portals.
- Own the I-9 Verification process.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding.
- Participate in Global Onboarding Lead meetings.
- You operate effectively, think critically, and make good decisions even when all factors may not be certain or when the way forward is unclear.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Workday
- Professional communicator with strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational/time management skills
