OPERATIONS OFFICER

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Performs wide range of duties as needed by the Investment Operations department.

Banking and Investment Services Division
Banking and Investment Services plays an integral role in leading the strategic vision and execution of all banking operations. Our servicing and operations professionals partner closely with all of our lines of business to carry out critical functions, including client/deposit servicing, contact center operations, payments processing, and trade and lending operations, while identifying and mitigating risk throughout the organization. Servicing and operations professionals seek to transform and define an integrated support model through automation and cutting-edge digital technologies, to deliver an excellent experience for our clients and businesses.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process and maintain quality service by establishing and maintaining standards.
• Provide input to management on staffing, work schedules and improvements, as business needs change, and schedule colleague's vacations, so there's no critical impact to Service level Standards.

• Processes New Account applications including Document verification, Data Entry input, Call back validation and Account Maintenance.
• Process ACATS transfers for incoming City National Security accounts.
• Assist in the clearing of fixed income trades
• Process incoming department mail – includes check processing and deposits
  Functions as department back-up to all general brokerage processing functions including Data Entry, fixed income input and verification, Money Market transactions and DDA Sweep activity.
• May also assist in the Fiduciary Records department during peak processing periods (e.g., fiduciary and credit files). Additionally, will assist with statement mailing for our Trust and Brokerage clients.
• Ensures activities are in compliance with legal/regulatory requirements and CNB policy and procedure.
• Provides exceptional customer service and serves as resource to internal and external customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Must-Have*

• Bachelor's Degree Or Equivalent Experience

Skills and Knowledge

• • Experience with Microsoft
  • Ability to communicate with bank personnel and good writing skills
  • Ability to function independently and make deadlines and quality standard
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Series 99 Preferred
