What you will be responsible for

As Collateral Operations and Oversight Specialist, Senior Associate you will be

• Overseeing Collateral operations activities locally as well as outsourced to other State Street locations

• Leading and executing internal operations and oversight related projects

• Leading process improvements starting from identification of opportunities until execution and implementation

• Ensuring high quality standards of the service

• Collaborating with internal and external groups to identify, analyze and proactively resolve issues and exceptions

• Contributing as subject matter expert to change processes and internal projects

• Working together with clients and other internal/external parties to improve and enhance processes

• Supporting audits, risk assessments and compliance initiatives by providing relevant data as well as new ideas

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree with a focus on business and financial topics or comparable apprenticeship

• At least 4 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably within collateral management, operations oversight and/or client services

• Knowledge of financial instruments and the regulatory framework in regards to Collateral industry (e.g. EMIR)

• Proficiency in English and German

• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, PowerBI preferred
