About the role

We're currently looking for an Operations Payments associate to join our Ops team full-time in Tel Aviv!
You will be in charge of communicating with courier partners on a daily basis, optimizing courier-related processes both Support as well as payment-related ones, locally and globally. As our Operations Payments associate you will need to be self-motivated, creative, and have amazing interpersonal and communication skills.

This role doesn’t require a specific Financial background but you do need to be super comfortable working with numbers. Alongside this, you must have a natural service-focused mindset and awesome people & social skills.

What you’ll be doing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align workflows and ensure smooth payment processes, working closely with all operational teams and other departments within the organization.
• Act as Tier 2 support for all courier-related payment inquiries, resolving complex issues escalated from Support teams and providing in-depth guidance to couriers about payment processes and their collaboration with Wolt.
• Work with courier payment-related documentation and reports, requiring a solid understanding of invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and data accuracy to support operational workflows.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with external partners, including invoice processing companies, ensuring seamless integration and ongoing service quality.
• Utilize tools such as Looker, Snowflake, Favro, Google Sheets, and Excel to analyze data, monitor performance, and create actionable insights to improve payment processes and workflows.
• Ensure a synchronized workflow with contractors, both internal and external, to maintain operational efficiency and deliver a top-tier courier experience.
• Facilitate communication between finance, support, and operations teams across both local and global markets.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or strong affinity for analytical roles, including experience with Excel and information systems.
• Ability to work independently.
