Description
Construction & Procurement Specialist
We grow the world's BEST Strawberries and that wouldn't be possible without our Construction & Engineering Teams!
As part of our Construction & Engineering team, the Construction & Procurement Specialist will work with Oishii's industry leading Engineering and Farm Deployment teams to facilitate the construction of new, high-tech farms. The Construction & Procurement Specialist is the glue that keeps our projects and teams organized, in compliance and within budget, specifically focused on project orders and project cost management / accounting.
What you'll do:

• Manage, collect, organize and input all subcontractor and vendor billings for projects within project financial management systems
• Work with Accounting team to ensure payments to subcontractors and vendors are on time
• Engage with Construction & Engineering teams to establish purchase needs for projects
• Issue and track purchase orders and subcontracts with focus on lead times to ensure equipment or materials are delivered on time within the project schedule
• Monitor project budget and update project financial management systems with any changes
• Support Construction team with administrative needs including internal and external compliance requirements, requests for proposals and change communications
• Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
• Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails

What we look for in a Construction & Procurement Specialist:

• Experience working in construction or engineering office preferred but not required
• Understanding of construction cost management / accounting
• Understanding of subcontracts and purchase orders
• Experience communicating with numerous external vendors
• Experience with ProCore is a plus or similar construction cost management system
• Flexibility, we are are start up and things change constantly
• Likes working with people, there will be a lot of internal and external communication required
