Operations Product Manager

Chowbus, Inc. in Chicago, IL seeks Operations Product Manager. Be the end-to-end owner of
the operations platform supporting internal tooling. Build and maintain the operations product
roadmap based on business needs, user feedback, data analysis and in collaboration with
product leaders and leaders in regional sales, central operations, finance, accounting,
business development, and marketing. Work with designers and software engineers to
establish user stories, design, and technical specifications for each feature. Establish,
maintain, and improve server-side platform concerns including billing (management of pricing
information), payment (collection of payments). Create Identity and Access Management
(Authn and Authz) processes and systems to protect system security. Lead fraud project and
work with Data and Engineering team to create a new fraud prevent process. With each
launch, drive adoption, measure results, optimize product, present wins, and celebrate team.
Ensure clear communication and coordination across partners. Improve the function, UI, and
workflows for internal resource management (menu, restaurant, discount, etc.). Lead the
cutoff project to create the cutoff feature and improvement. Improve time-to-market of
features changes for all server-side dev teams by providing reusable and extensible
engineering abstractions. Telecommuting is permitted within commutable distance to the
office.

Must possess a Master’s Degree in Managing Information Technology, Computer Science, or
a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related role. Must also possess
coursework or work experience with (i) data mining; (ii) information system development; (iii)
information security; and (iv) project management.
