Operations Program Manager

The Role
In the role of Operations Program Manager , you will drive our tech operations activities, working across functional areas to ensure timely delivery, deployment, and sustaining of our technology products. You will interface with our deployment projects leads, contractors and facilities, documenting and communicating our plans and requirements. You will be responsible for planning and execution of our manufacturing and technology deployment activities, setting clear direction for and tracking execution with our internal teams and external partners.
Role overview:
- Manage activities and relationships with our internal manufacturing and field operations teams, as well as contract manufacturers, contractors at test & deployment facilities, and external suppliers
- Partner closely with development and manufacturing teams, both internally and externally, driving all relevant production metrics and delivering our products on time
- Be the interface between the Tech Ops organization and our deployment project leads, contractors and facilities, documenting and communicating plans and requirements
- Manage dependencies between supply chain, manufacturing, and field deployments, driving decisions and making priority calls to meet the company's milestones
- Assess and manage Tech operations risks, communicate with leadership and stakeholders, and identify solutions to achieve program goals.
Requirements:
- BS degree in engineering or business management discipline or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, and/or program managemen.
- Experience defining and tracking KPIs and managing program risks
- Experience defining operations programs schedule, well versed in managing interdependencies between Hardware supply chain, production and deployment requirements
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills are a must. Ability to keep big picture in mind while providing clear and concise communication to internal and teams, at various levels
- Experience in Hardware engineering or manufacturing with a track record of building products
