Job Description
Pensa works with a range of external customers including consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers, retailers, and omnichannel partners. We are searching for a highly qualified Project Manager to manage the organization of key client projects. The Project Manager – Retail/Grocery Solutions will play a critical role in facilitating the delivery of high-quality solutions to our clients.
The Project Manager will be the driver of our customer projects and the master of all details to ensure projects are on time and within scope. This role will be responsible for overseeing different initiatives and projects, monitoring their progress and completion, to ensure they meet the expectations of our clients. Duties will include designing, communicating and implementing a project plan with schedules, resources and budget to complete a project. They will also monitor the progress and performance against the project plan, and stay on top of all communications regarding status of the project. By having an in-depth knowledge of project management, this role will be able to change and adapt to meet the ever-changing demands of our organization and help us be more efficient, effective and profitable.
Responsibilities
- Determine and define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
- Develop and manage detailed project schedule and work plan to monitor and track progress
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress
- Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Determine resource availability and allocation
- Measure project performance to identify areas of improvements; using appropriate systems, tools and methodologies
Skills/Qualifications
- A Bachelors Degree in a related field
- 3-5 Years proven project management experience, seeing projects through the full life cycle
- A minimum of 1-3 years' experience in the retail industry, with a deep understanding of retail operations and processes preferred.
- Strong understanding of formal project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes
- Excellent client facing and internal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to details and multitasking abilities
- Proven analytical skills and ability to solve problems creatively
