Job Summary:

The Operations Recon Specialist is responsible for the Bank Account Reconciliation functions. This position is responsible for daily and monthly balancing and reconciliation of internal deposit accounts as well as general ledger accounts identified with Deposit Operations processing. This position is responsible for performing timely reconciliations, notifying individuals of outstanding issues and offages, and continual follow-up to ensure all items are cleared within required service levels. The Recon Specialist identifies research and updates discrepancies in multiple systems and assists in resolving issues.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

• Performs analysis and reconciliation of internal deposit accounts and general ledger accounts on a daily and/or monthly basis

• Communicates and follows up with various departments to research account differences and resolve discrepancies in a timely fashion

• Completes daily print jobs in Barr

• Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• At least 3 years of experience in Bank Operations required

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• An understanding of Operations, including the flow of items through the clearing process as well as general ledger system and integration with deposit system
