Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, G-3, Force Development Division, Resource Management Branch, Arlington, VA.
About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C.

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. ndividual Occupational Requirements
Basic Requirements:Degree Bachelor's or higher: in operations research; or at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus. (NOTE: Must submit all transcripts)
Addition to meeting the Basic Requirements above you must also meet the specialized experience below.Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Evaluate a variety of statistical studies in the areas of readiness, equipping management/programs, work processes and productivity improvement; propose changes to resourcing and policy to meet mission requirements; develop requirement justifications; develop resource reports on equipment and training resourcing.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12 or above]).

FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
