Job Description
What is the opportunity?
The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for providing excellent, accurate and timely customer service to RBC Wealth Management (RBC WM) branches & complexes, C&C (Clearing & Custody), Operations, GAM and Corporate areas for: internal/external incoming and outgoing ACH transactions, Clearing Firm ACH profile set up, Check deposit, stop payment, deposit errors, returned items, re-deposits, lockbox deposits, Ensenta mobile check deposits, DRC check file/reconciliation, check disbursement including void, re-issue and reversal, C&C management fees, workflow check approval, printing and overnight processing, Cash Management Account checking and VISA transactions, money market cash sweep, redemption, purchase, website rate update, reporting and reconciliation, bank accounts department general ledgers and phone queue support, and engage employees during review process by having them read through the procedure and give any feedback and/or efficiency suggestions. The individual will be responsible for training and supervisory duties.
What will you do?
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for end-user efficiency solutions.
- Daily review and reconciliation of multiple bank accounts and general ledgers
- Daily processing of retail returned checks, mail sorting, coding deposits and scanning. Weekly processing of 15c3 Funds after cut off reporting
- Supports various monthly processing such as the monthly voiding of Stale Date Checks, Verification of ACH transactions, Ordering supplies for correspondent firms, ACH/D&D Internal conversions and processing of Foreign Checks
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 4-year degree from an accredited university or equivalent OR High school diploma or equivalent AND 3+ years of securities, banking, technology and/or job specific industry experience
- 3+ years experience in money movement activities (ACH, wire transfers, check, etc.)
- 2+ years reconciliation experience
- 1+ year prior securities, banking, technology industry and/or job specific related industry
- Securities license 99 (or able to obtain license within 120 days)
Nice-to-have
- 4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field
- 2+ years business process redesign, robotics & AI, VBA development, MS Access development, analysis and/or risk control experience
