Operations Specialist

The Operations Specialist is designed to serve as a resource for employees and management in the areas of their functional expertise. Helps ensure compliance with company policies as well as applicable state and federal regulations.

• This will be an onsite position in our Meridian, Idaho location.
• Grade 18

Experience: 4 years' relevant experience is required. Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, call center customer service, and/or Blue Cross of Idaho operations area will be useful in this position.

Education: No specific education required

The Command Center Specialist coordinates research across departments to define and solve complex problems. Communicates with stakeholders to investigate, explain, and resolve operations-related issues. Identifies trends and proposes solutions that enhance the customer's experience.

• Observes, maps, and studies operations processes to identify areas of opportunity.
• Works with Business Analysts and IT to develop tools to streamline and automate processes.
• Identifies and pushes adoption of primary/optimal data sources for key operational data points.
• Coordinates across departments to enhance hand-offs between them.
