Operations Specialist, Biological Modeling

Tempus Biological Modeling is building the world’s largest patient-derived organoid library to evaluate real world data observations by constructing large scale data sets of molecular and experimental data. Tempus Biological Modeling is actively engaging with academic and industry partners in life science research, and we seek an Operations Specialist to accelerate our laboratory operations and academic research partnerships.  

What You'll Do:

• Design and implement process and workflow improvements for project completion
• Responsible for sample and data coordination across multiple workflows and pipelines
• Summarize and present key quality performance metrics to leadership
• Assist in the creation of CLIA/CAP laboratory operations Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist management with CLIA/CAP audits and inspections
• Coordinate and lead external academic collaboration project meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences or similar
• Highly proficient with office software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite products, Atlassian, other project management tools)
• Exceptional organizational skills and superb attention to detail 
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize and complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Preferred candidates will have 1+ years in the life sciences industry
