Job Description

In your role as an Operations Strategy Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support and execution of projects that may span across areas in Operations Strategy including Product Originations, Servicing, Collections and Recoveries. Additionally, core to the responsibility of each member of the Operations Strategy team is to continually challenge the status quo to ensure
optimization of all processes that support the full customer lifecycle - your work will have a direct impact on the bottom line of the business.

What you do at Avant:
  • Manage initiatives that focus on process optimization; implement strategies and systems improvements to support operations strategy
  • Utilize data to identify opportunities, assess root case and problem solve issues
  • Oversee the execution and ongoing management of strategic deliverables set forth by Leadership
  • Ensures the Operations Team is in compliance with all regulatory policies and procedures
  • Assist with testing and deployment of new capabilities and support post-implementation monitoring and incident management
  • Ensure operational readiness for all implementations, technology, and process changes.
  • Define, build, analyze KPI reports and dashboards to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and drive actions to address the root causes that persistently lead to operational risk losses by challenging both historical and proposed practices
  • Ensure systems and processes are well documented
  • Ensures project completion, special assignments, and other ad hoc activities as required
  • Utilize SQL, R, Python for the purpose of data querying, monitoring and data visualization

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint and/or corresponding Google applications

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a sense of urgency
  • Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytic skills
