Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. (HYMH), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented “Operations Supervisor” based out of our Americas Headquarter office in Greenville, NC.

Who you are:

• A highly motivated individual excelling in fast-paced environments.
• As a professional in the industry, you will handle supervise and direct hourly workforce. and distribution operations in all functional areas including picking, put away, packaging, receiving and shipping.
• Provide operational oversight to the entire shift, ensuring resources is allocated appropriately to fully realize daily business requirements in a consistent, efficient and quality manner.
• Manage and coordinate multiple processes across all functional areas systematically. Shift focal point in handle routine communication and disciplinary action within the team.
• Partner with EHS and Maintenance personnel to deliver upon issue resolution.

What you will do:

• This position will effectively allocate resources with goal of producing quality and timely output which meets daily business requirements.
• Manage and adjust priorities where conditions dictate. 
• Provide daily direction to Operation Supervisors in achieving these goals.
• Direct personnel/activities, Serve as secondary point of communication on labor/management issues. Maintain accurate attendance and overtime records, reporting and administering disciplinary action where necessary. 
• Communicate and enforce facility work rules.
• In addition, work closely with warehouse staff to ensure internal processes and procedures are well-maintained. 
• Assist in the development/implementation of new procedures and enhancements designed to improve material movement, inventory accuracy and space utilization.
• Maintain active involvement and understanding in all facets of warehouse management systems.
• Utilize output to assist in daily operational decisions.
• Ensure communication channels are maintained by conducting regular meetings with subordinates regarding safety, policy and operational issues Participate in operational planning sessions with operations and sales staff. 
• Gather input from hourly personnel and provide timely communication of critical issues to upper-level management.

What you will need:

• B.S. Industrial Management /Eng /Tech/Supervision and 1-2 years supervisory experience or 4-6 warehouse operations experience.
• 1-2 years warehouse operations or people management experience.
• Five (5) plus years of relevant experience will be considered without college degree.
