Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced operations supervisor to oversee our regional operations teams and provide support to our sales teams in our Carson, California office!
The Operations Supervisor position is responsible for managing our teams of Customer Service Representatives (CSR), and making sure the movement of freight across North America/Canada, or even across the globe, is coordinated and executed successfully according to our customer's needs. We teach you the skills necessary to operate in the transportation industry by utilizing our own, proprietary technology. Our rapid company growth requires that we constantly add motivated, enthusiastic individuals committed to providing exceptional customer service.
Operations Supervisor
What the Job Entails:

• Recruit and train new employees to service existing business and develop new business
• Monitor shipments to ensure customers are invoiced in a timely manner and accounts are kept current
• Supervise Operations Facilitators as well as all Customer Service Representatives for the Toronto Office
• Evaluate overall performance, workload and organization of staff
• Supply head office with all HR related information
• Oversee overall staff training
• Troubleshoot any situations affecting operations in conjunction with the VP of Operations
• Assist in booking and tracing shipments when required
• Ensure that each account managers operations are maintained at the proper level
• Address any invoicing issues with head office
• Assist staff in resolving operational and HR issues if required

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar position
• Minimum of 10 years experience in a 3PL environment
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Ability to manage employee conflicts to a successful resolution and to coach and develop team members;
• Ability to assess talent and build development plans;
• Ability to proactively plan and organize work to accomplish goals;
• Good knowledge and experience with Excel.

This is a full-time permanent position: Monday to Friday.
Traffic Tech has implemented preventative measures and safety precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of all persons entering Traffic Tech facilities.
