HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Operations Support Associate is responsible for providing support to the Operations - Retirement Services team. This team is responsible for the recordkeeping of service agreements, establishing new accounts, reviewing and processing incoming funds, and submitting Welcome Kit letters related to various retirement products,. The ideal incumbent will be a quick learner and have strong attention to detail, accurate and rapid data entry capabilities and a capacity for multitasking. Through verbal and written communication, this individual will develop, strengthen and maintain a positive relationship with other internal Operational teams, Sales and external, record-keepers, plan sponsors and third party administrators.
- Record and safeguard Service Agreement data within the CRM system
- Manage incoming files and review, detect and resolve issues to effectively process within the established service levels
- Review and prepare incoming checks, wires, ACH activity and client welcome letters
- Follow up on outstanding issues relating to service agreements, accounts, funds and pending items
- Respond to incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, cases and faxes
- Effectively communicate and utilize sound judgment to escalate issues that may require intervention of the Supervisor
- Ensure that all processing consistently meets established service levels and is done with a high degree of accuracy
- Other duties as assigned

- Associates degree or commensurate work experience
- 0 - 2 years of applicable experience
- Be detail-oriented, organized and dependable
- Have the ability to type, enter data, follow directions and perform other duties quickly and accurately
- Work independently and seek additional work as time allows
- Strong computer aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be proactive and analytical, able to problem-solve and propose resolutions
- Be a team player with a positive attitude
- Operate with a high sense of responsibility and conscientiousness in delivering results
- Be optimistic with a consistently positive and flexible attitude
- IRA knowledge and experience preferred
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to work overtime
