Operations Support Engineer Site Lead
Job Description
Copper River Technologies is seeking an experience Operations Support Engineer Site Lead to join our team in support of a new contract. This role is supporting a contract performing field support for forward-deployed users of operational, analytical intelligence support, as well as provide technical and analytical mission planning and execution systems support.
This role can be located in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, Stuttgart, Germany or Tampa, FL. Â
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Must know, support, and teach all SOCOM and Joint Staff programs of record for COP management, OAI management, Commander Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) management, as well as other software programs available to units that support operational requirements.
- Provide global support to operations and work with assigned units to understand unit specific requirements and report to SOCOM all operation capability gaps for software and technology at the unit level.
- Collaborate, coordinate, and synchronize efforts as required with appropriate Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) and relevant Joint Task Forces and has a solid understanding of Task Regional GSSE Leads as pertains to Command and Control (C2) supporting or support and command relationships.
- Operations domain support includes attending and maintaining situation awareness on AoR level working groups as it pertains to Mission Command and C2 efforts to include but not limited to, COP Working Groups, Joint Fires WG, Sustainment, Protection and Tactical Data Link (TADL) Working Groups.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Clearance:
- Top Secret w/ SCI Eligibility.
- Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in technical support position and Operational or Intelligence Community (IC) operations, platforms, functions, and terminology experience.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in implementing and training software systems/updates, standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
- Detailed working knowledge of processes and procedures for using automated tools to plan, support, and execute Special Operations roles for mission planning.
- Ability to develop processes and techniques which enhance the mission planning environment and reduces the workload for other mission planning support Contractors.
