Group/Division
The Instruments Group is passionate about development of state-of-the-art inspection and metrology equipment used in production and research and development environments. Organization is globally located in US, China, and Singapore. We provide critical cost-effective solutions for power electronics, LED, communications, automotive, data storage, and other related nanoelectronics and materials science applications. We partner with our customers to provide state of the art hardware and software to improve yield and lower overall production costs by supplying world-leading inspection, metrology and review systems. In addition to developing valuable product solutions, the group provides support to customers to achieve performance entitlement through sharing and implementation of application BKMs (Best Known Methods).

The Filmetrics group in San Diego is looking for a go-getter to join our Operations team. This administrative position will support our Manufacturing and Materials Management activities by helping to get inventory where it needs to be when it needs to be there so that we can serve our customers quickly!

Job duties will include:

• Creating Manufacture Orders in our inventory management system to facilitate the picking of inventory for production.
• Processing material for internal rework, including logging failure modes and corrective actions.
• Assisting with the creation of new inventory locations to accommodate our new product transfer from R&D to production.
• Additional duties as they arise

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail - and an appreciation of the effort needed to undo a lack of attention to detail
• Organization master - can keep track of high volumes of paperwork and inventory passing their desk
• Time management skills - completing tasks on time, or proactively presenting potential delays to management
• Established track record of using multiple computer programs to drive efficiency, including Excel and Outlook
• Willingness to ask thoughtful questions, take detailed notes, and tackle new tasks
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with a lot of moving parts and shifting priorities
• A go-getter, list-maker, task-completer!

Minimum Qualifications

HS Graduate or GED and work experience of 2 years.
