Description

We are looking for a talented Operations Team Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Emissions Solutions business unit in Mineral Point, WI.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Participate in daily meeting with operations managers; take direction to the team leads; provide feedback from leads to Ops managers.
• Assist with sharing people across departments.
• E-time approval; Conduct annual reviews and discipline of hourly employees.
• Ensure teams are cross-trained; Lead and develop Team Leads.
• Gives input into overtime requirements to Ops Manager.
• Additional support to the team leads to help with improvement projects on each line; Manufacturing Engineering interaction

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience with cycle times, Microsoft Excel and managing people.
• Strong experience building effective teams, developing talent and driving engagement.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
