• As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be on the front lines of supporting IT and the business using your knowledge and experiences administering IT infrastructure environments. You will have the ability to take ownership of escalated incidents and requests, as well as be a core team member to various critical IT projects.

This position is part of the IT Department and will be located in Bangalore, Karnataka. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Cooperate closely with the local IT Team and the business, providing support on important tasks & projects on a critical manufacturing site.
• Oversee local day-to-day IT operations, ensure reliability and security of systems, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Respond to incidents and requests including escalated issues by executing through to completion or escalating when appropriate.
• Provide business support, including troubleshooting issues and providing appropriate support to the business stakeholders.
• Perform installation and configuration management of systems and applications. Facilitate meetings with vendors and cross-functional participants if needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems.
• 8+ years of working with IT Infrastructure,strong understanding of AWS technologies, Active Directory, IAM, PowerShell, Servers
• Experience managing and maintaining Windows servers in an enterprise environment.
• Strong experience managing enterprise Printer & Scan environments and storage technologies.
• Solid understanding of Networking concepts such as DHCP, DNS, Routing, VLAN
• Solid understanding of database and database management technologies
