Point72’s Operations team supports all operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting firmwide for all products, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange and futures, and digital assets across global markets.

What you’ll do

The Point72 Operations Transformation team is seeking an experienced innovator to help bridge the divide between business and technology, and act as a change agent for evolving the department’s processes. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering project management support on our transformation goals as well as guidance/expertise with redesigning processes to optimize for efficiency, scale, and control. Specifically, you will:

·       Work with the Operations team to drive efficiency, develop tools, and streamline BAU processes

·       Identify and implement solutions that increase automation, control, and efficiency

·       Introduce best practices to centralize, standardize, and improve processes across Operations

·       Assist in building and running governance model for the department

·       Engage in the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives for the Operations team

·       Participate in complex cross functional projects with multiple stakeholders

·       Work with key partners on our Technology, Compliance, Risk, Tax, Treasury, and Finance teams

·       Produce metrics across key performance indicators to assess overall health of the department

What’s required

• 10+ years of professional experience in middle office operations functions within a leading financial services or investment firm
• Prior experience leading transformation and change initiatives with an emphasis on data management, requirements gathering, process re-engineering, user-acceptance-testing, etc.
• Strong Project Manager, ability to synthesize complex issues in structured frameworks and produce polished presentations to stakeholders
• Ability and eagerness to quickly learn and use new technology applications
• Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
•  Proficiency in SQL, Alteryx, PowerAutomate, and other AI/Robotics applications.
