Point72’s Operations team supports all operational aspects of trade processing, reconciliation, financing, and reporting firmwide for all products, including equities, derivatives, bonds, foreign exchange and futures, and cryptocurrency across global markets.

What you’ll do

The Point72 Operations team is seeking a self-starter with strategic thinking, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills to help support the Operations team with daily business activities, continuous process improvement and project management.  In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the operational and strategic initiatives of the Operations team. 

• Work with the Operations leadership team to drive business efficiency, reduce risk and enhance overall operational effectiveness
• Identify and implement solutions that increase automation, control and efficiency
• Manage the planning and implementation of strategic initiatives for the Operations team
• Participate in complex cross functional projects with multiple stakeholders
• Work with key partners on our Technology, Compliance, Risk, Tax, Treasury and Finance teams

What’s required?

• 10+ years of professional experience in trading operations/middle office functions within a leading financial services or investment firm, with a strong understanding of operational processes, products and the trade life cycle
• Demonstrated experience leading large scale strategic initiatives
• Executive presence and influence to help drive change and transformation
• Strong listening and communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels within an organization
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and work effectively across teams
• Strong judgement and decision-making skills that demonstrate the ability to think strategically
• High attention to detail aimed at delivering a product that meets our best-in-class standards
• Comfortable leading people (directly or indirectly) to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
