In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Operator Derrickboat without more than normal supervision. Have experience as a Derrickboat Operator assisting a journeyman Derrickboat Operator with crane or derrick, lattice boom or hydraulic boom services such as wrecking, removing obstructions, submarine drilling and blasting, repairing breakwaters, construction and repair of docks, and pile driving. Experience where I assist with barge handling, including anchoring, mooring, positioning and towing.

• PHYSICAL EFFORT: Frequently performs lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• WORKING CONDITIONS: Subject to dangers inherit to derrickboat operations, such as overturning boat, drowning, falling, being struck by loads. The possibility exists of sustaining cuts and bruises in connection with repair activities. Works indoors and outdoors under varied weather conditions.
