Operations Specialist, MFS

POSITION SUMMARY

Mutual Funds Services is currently seeking an Operations Specialist to join the team. In this role you will work within a specialized team on executing daily deliverables, including, but not limited to, analyzing, reporting and executing mutual fund account openings and related fund account projects. You will also act as a primary point of contact for many internal and external client inquiries. This position will also allow you to take a leadership role and assist with workflow management and procedure review, reporting recommendations and escalation items to your team leaders.

Responsibilities:

Securities Processing

• Process transactions, verify information, manage daily volumes and ensure all deadlines and requirements are met.
• Prepare and execute required fund documentation.

Client Service

• Provide superior client service. Ensure timely response to internal and external requests and follow up on open inquiries.

Risk Management

• Assist with defining and documenting procedures and controls. Communicate professionally and constructively to effectively resolve issues in order to reduce risk and exposure.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
• 1 to 2 years of custody or securities processing or other industry experience
• Research, analysis and problem resolution skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Leadership skills and ability to engage others
• Ability to multitask and deal with competing priorities

Salary Range

$52,000 - $56,000

BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
