Job Description
The Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Operations Technology (OPT) Project Delivery Office (PDO) is hiring a Project Execution Director to lead a team of project and program managers who help standardize, plan and drive the execution of the portfolio of Global Technology, Cyber Security Technology Controls and firmwide requests across the 11 Operations products and their 300+ application teams.
As an experienced professional in Project Execution, you thrive at managing complex technology programs that have far-reaching implications for clients, employees, and stakeholders throughout the firm. This role requires a strong grasp of the big-picture - how can technology upgrades and changes help reduce risk for the product and the firm - and an ability to collaborate to develop plans and deliver results through excellent interpersonal skills. You'll work closely with the team to understand and inject new scope, lead execution through detailed tracking, and ensure transparency of risks and potential impacts through clear communications. You'll play an integral role in ensuring visibility of impediments and identifying thematic areas of improvement as you standardize, plan and drive execution of the holistic lifecycle management requests across the products while assessing the impacts and efficiencies of other competing priorities. Just as important, you'll work with your team to set goals, foster collaboration, and promote the values, culture, and brand of JPMorgan Chase & Co.
This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 10+ years relevant work experience in a highly complex large enterprise
  • Developing and leading a team of project execution professionals through diverse hiring, individual career development, and group guidance
  • Understanding of global and line of business project and program management standards and methods, with a very high attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience working with high-performing teams across a portfolio of projects and programs
  • Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders throughout Operations Technology and the firm using direct and transparent communications
  • Collaboration with senior leadership, requestors, and other partners for issues, escalations, and priorities, while taking into account the risk for the application and firm
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills focused on efficiencies and promoting transparency of status and risk across the portfolio
  • Focus on partnering with several key teams in addition to the Operations products to identify blockers and pain points to drive strategic and tactical solutions (CCB Platform Operations and Clearinghouse, OPT Catalyst, OPT Cybersecurity Technology Controls, and Infrastructure & Production Management)
