What you will learn and contribute to
DUTIES: May install, configure, and maintain an organization's network systems, data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform system monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access. Perform System Integration testing and validation. Analyze customer requirements, translate them into high level and low-level transport network design documents based on Nokia transport portfolio. Design method of procedures for migration and transformation. Define test scenarios and write test validation protocols. Develop and customize tools for automation of migration/transformation tasks. Define software architecture and split into workable items. Consult customer and internal stakeholders on Network Management System (NMS) architectures and NMS NBI capabilities. Integrate applications, mediator, wrapper, or adapter for OSS on top of existing NBI/NMS/NE. Perform complex NMS transformation by means of automated transformation tools. Perform network management and network element validation in customer premises (NPI/TAC/TEC). #LI-DNI
Your skills and experience
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years of experience to involve: (1) define software architecture and split into workable items; (2) consult customer and internal stakeholders on Network Management System (NMS) architectures and NMS NBI capabilities; (3) integrate applications, mediator, wrapper, or adapter for OSS on top of existing NBI/NMS/NE; (4) perform complex NMS transformation by means of automated transformation tools; (5) NMS/NFM-T operation and maintenance; (6) Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms and Optical technologies such as: DWDM, SDH, ETH (EoSDH and MPLS-TP); (7) network management and network element validation in customer premises (NPI/TAC/TEC); and (8) communication and negotiation skills to manage customer and various vendors.
Salary Range: Salary: $105,906 - $163,800/year
