Optics/Physics Modeling and Simulation Developer

Torch Technologies is currently seeking a skilled developer to provide modeling and simulation support for sensor systems. Candidate should have an understanding of optical design and analysis concepts, fundamentals of radiometry, and radiometric processes. Experience with MATLAB, Python, C++ tools and programming languages desired.

Job Requirements

• B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Optics, Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical / Electro-optical Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience

• Ability to understand and develop code, such as Python, C/C++, and/or MATLAB
• Familiarity with EO/IR sensors andImage Processing a plus
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Capable of working in a diverse multi-disciplinary group
• Position requires the candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for the position
