Summary:

This Oracle Cloud Project Manager role has the responsibility of planning a project and seeing that it is completed successfully, within the given timeline and within budget. The ideal candidate needs to have excellent project management skills to coordinate with the entire team including the client and stakeholders. The Project Manager needs be comfortable working on multiple projects at any given time. Risk mitigation, handling escalations and prioritization skills are required.

Must be able to perform non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective as well as delivering a successful implementation to the external customers, typically from initiation through delivery. Develops project plans and coordinates cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in areas of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Developing and maintaining customer relationships is a critical success factor in this role. Oracle Cloud/EBS project management and/or working knowledge the Oracle ERPs is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing resources, timeline, scope and customer expectations
• Managing project deliverables with cross functional teams
• Manage change requests, determine impact, and negotiate changes to project scope
• Generate and deliver project plans and cost estimates to client
• Manage and participate in the following project activities:
• Define functional and technical specifications
• Unit and integration testing during the course of the project
• Go-Live planning and Support
• Maintain project issue logs
• Support sales staff to position solutions to customer prospects and by providing project estimates and timelines

Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5+ years Project Management and/or consulting experience
• Project Management experience with Oracle SCM Cloud or EBS implementations preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent presentation skills
• Very good negotiation skills
• Experience managing resources, timeline, scope and customer expectations
• Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project skills
• Ability to travel to client sites to facilitate requirements gathering as well as delivery of the solution will be required (up to 25% travel)
• Experience with ERP - Oracle SCM Cloud or EBS preferred
