Job Description:
To stand up new scrum teams for Enterprise Data Incident Management (EDIM) work, with large focus on ETL, Database and Axiom dev work.
Our team is looking for an Oracle database developer to support development for regulatory reporting.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, partitioning, DB performance and level 3 support for similar applications and/or data warehouse environments utilizing Oracle Exadata.
The candidate will be working with an existing project working with team members around the world writing SQL and PLSQL for the application which utilizes .Net, Informatica, SQL Loader, Python and Axiom reporting.
Responsibilities include:
  • Working with an existing project and working with team members around the world writing SQL and PLSQL for the application which utilizes .Net, Informatica, SQL Loader, Python and Axiom reporting.
  • Extensively work with Data from sourcing, transformation, lineage to reporting. Collaborate with other team developers for reviews to build high-quality reusable code (user defined functions).
  • Troubleshooting and Performance tuning of the application for SLA enhancements.
  • generation process for Broker Dealer business.
  • Design and Develop SQL for database interaction to read/write data.
  • Active contribution to application lifecycle including maintenance, release management, critical bug fixing and ensure error free delivery of the software solution.
  • Partner well with the Scrum Master, Project Manager, and other agile team members.

Required skills:
  • 5+ years of Oracle development
  • 5+ years of PLSQL, Ansi SQL
  • 5+ years of experience writing procedures, Views, Packages
  • Extensive experience in tuning complex queries for performance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Experience working with portioned data
  • Self-starter, self-managing

Nice to have:
  • Experience working in banking industry
  • Experience working with Informatica or any other ETL tools
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment
  • Experience working in an Agile framework
  • Experience working with Oracle Exadata environment
