Oracle EBS Functional Analyst

Job Description:
We are seeking an Oracle Applications R12 Functional Analyst with deep Functional experience in Oracle Financials specifically Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payables, General Ledgers, Financial Reporting & Consolidation, and Planning & Analysis. This individual will be working with a team of technologists and business stakeholders. This candidate will be mainly responsible for configuration, maintenance and administration of the applications specifically in modules noted above. The candidate must have strong technical, analytical, problem-solving skills and understanding of Accounting and Financial Reporting. This position will report to program manager of Corporate Systems - Finance
Role & Responsibility:

• Maintain the application from system configuration perspective. Help technical team for all the issues where functional expertise is needed. Familiar BR100 configuration documentation.
• Assist business to evaluate and select best global solution and approaches
• Perform design and configuration in the system according to business requirements, for new features and enhancements to existing functionality, including Oracle EBS R12 Account Receivables, Account Payables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management and General Ledger modules.
• Basic system administration of other cloud-based applications (i.e. user provisioning, database refreshes, smart view adhoc queries) is a plus
• Seek to drive the highest standards of customer service to Finance teams
• Ensure system and process alignment with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and IT general controls, as well as security.
• Lead the relationship with both internal business/technical stakeholders, external software vendors and any professional services engagements

Business Stakeholder Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Info Systems, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology with a Business minor, or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in Oracle Financials R12 primarily in Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and General Ledger in a functional capacity. Exposure to Service Contract and/or EBTax module is a plus
• Ability to plan, execute, and improve work processes to ensure achievement of business objectives. Capable to transform business requirements to functional design and technical solution.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills
• Strong understanding of standard Oracle business processes, dependencies, programs, screens and reports in these modules.
• Have an in depth understanding of business processes and practices of core financial areas, such as revenue recognition and/or cost accounting
• Experience of cloud-based financial applications, such as FCCS, PBCS, Blackline, is a plus
• Understanding of key FP&A concepts (i.e. P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and processes.
• Experience of global payment and banking integration is desirable.
• Familiarity with SOX controls and awareness of technical security operations and information security standards.
• Experience working with Oracle and third-party implementation and system integration vendors.
